Oerol Festival 2014

At the invitation of Thijs Masthoff and Isis Hoos, Bloesembar took the visitors’ to the Oerol festival on a walk across Terschelling for the Made by Waste Lab. They led a walk of between eight and 20 people twice a day. The visitors picked their own blend of tea flora. After washing and drying, they could take it the same day. Drinking the tea blend evoked memories, not only based on sight and sound, but linked to all the senses, where taste and smell were paramount, specifically at Oerol 2014. The small groups and the accessibility to the green area contributed to the scale of the island. Your tea cup became a magnifying glass of the surrounding vegetation. A titillating sensation that gave the festival a special taste memory.
